DigiMetku is an application that promotes the rehabilitation of children and young people.
👉 The starting point is the meaningful everyday life of the child or young person. In the application, one can describe important things to themselves, their daily life, hopes, and goals.
👉 The ways of using the application is based on based on individual needs, and there are no age or functional restrictions.
👉 The aim of the application is to promote the rehabilitation process and to enhance child’s or young person’s functioning according to the individual goal. It helps to identify what is important to the child/ young person and supports motivation towards rehabilitation.
👉 An email address, which can be your own email address or, for example, your parent's email address.
👉 A username, which can be your own name, nickname, or a username you come up with.
👉 A password to keep your account secure.
In the future, you can log in with your username and password on page www.digimetku.fi. Inside the application, you'll find more instructions and tips for use.
If you are using a phone or tablet, you can download the application icon to your device's home screen, which will provide quicker access to DigiMetku.
👉 The development was a collaboration with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Arcada University of Applied Sciences, and Savonia University of Applied Sciences with funding from Kela (The Social Insurance Institution of Finland).
👉 National association for pediatric rehabilitation in Finland is responsible for the development and maintenance of the application.
