The purpose of the application is to promote the daily rehabilitation process of a child/young person and enhance attainment of their individual goals in rehabilitation.
Registry information is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU (2016/679), Articles 13-14. The responsibility for personal data lies with the National association for pediatric rehabilitation in Finland (VLK) in collaboration with Adventure Club. Data contents are stored in the application's server database located in the EU region. All terms of use are subject to Finnish law.
We grant you the right to use the DigiMetku application as an individual in accordance with these terms of use. The usage right for the application is free and valid indefinitely. You can terminate it at any time by removing the application from your mobile device. When you terminate it, your username and credentials will be deleted. The application is intended for the personal use of the service user. The use of the application by a minor is always the responsibility of the guardian. The user commits to complying with these terms of use, as well as Finnish law and good practice, in all their use of the service. The user is also responsible for keeping their username and password confidential.
The application is free of charge.
User-generated content is only used for providing and developing the service. The Finnish Copyright Act and all other applicable legislation protect the application, its contents, and appearance. All rights, such as ownership, copyright, and other intellectual property rights to the application and related material, belong to the National association for pediatric rehabilitation in Finland (VLK) and our licensors. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these terms of use.
The user is responsible for acquiring and ensuring the functionality of the devices, software, and communication and data connections required for using the application, as well as the associated costs. The user is fully responsible for the use of the application in compliance with the terms of use, any other contractual terms, and laws or good practices, and for any damage caused to VLK, other users, or third parties.
Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that the application will always be available to you without interruptions. There may be interruptions, or usage may be blocked, or there may be errors or deficiencies in the content due to maintenance activities, technical problems, problems with third-party data transmission, or similar reasons.
The right to use the application is granted to you on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee that the application meets your requirements or operates in all environments. We are not responsible for errors, delays, or damages resulting from the use of the application.
We are not liable for legal actions, claims, or measures taken by third parties, or damages resulting from the application. Ensure that the rehabilitation measures you describe are suitable for you/user and are provided in accordance with the age, considering safety. The application cannot take into account the age of the user.
We do not provide rehabilitation advice or programs. Our goal is to offer an easy and enjoyable way to monitor one's rehabilitation in daily life and make it fun for the child/young person and the whole family.
VLK has the right to change these terms of use to reflect the nature, functionalities, or changes in the service. The current terms of use can be found in the application. By continuing to use the application after changes to the terms of use, you agree to abide by the new terms. Significant changes to the terms of use will always be communicated separately in the application.
